Who we are

Hi! I’m Heidi! I’ve been the owner and operator of Seward Dog Lodge for over 10 years, and caring for dogs has truly become a way of life for me. Our main focus is off-leash adventures, where dogs get to run, explore, and thrive together as a happy pack.

During the summer months, I also open our kennel to welcome traveling pups whose humans are out exploring Alaska. I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re adventuring, and my goal is to make sure your dog is never left alone for long hours, and always feels safe, cared for, and loved.

What started as a simple dog-walking service for local RV parks quickly grew into something bigger, and that growth inspired me to open a small, home-based doggie daycare on my property. Penny and I absolutely love meeting dogs and their people from near and far, and we treat every pump as if they were our own.

We’re here to make every stay comfortable, safe, and as stress-free as possible- for both you and your dog(s)
